Finally got pics. 1970 mustang
I got pics of my engine and door. How bad is the rust in the door do you think? I also am not sure as to what engine I have in it. Think you can tell from these? I am going to have more of the body and car later this weekend. I want to do the suspension and then do a carburetor and intake manifold. Any ideas? I already have KYB Gas-Adjust shocks. I want to do the suspension right but not put thousands into it. What other parts should i look for to do the suspension?

RE: Finally got pics. 1970 mustang
door pics?
i think its a 302 judging by the thermo housing location and the rocker covers. my computer is not showing up the pics too clearly.
suspension depends on what is right and wrong now.
if its untouched it will likely be a bit saggy in the rear, so rear springs need doing.
front springs might be ok
steering components and brakes would be where i'd start.

I believe thats a 302 because it looks too small to be a 351, it appears that the deck height is just above the timing cover, indicating its a 302. If the deck height is like an inch and a half or so above the timing cover it is a 351.
Also, I have a 69 with a 351 and it just looks way smaller
mine
