Default 1966 Mustang

It has been about 25 years since I restored my last Mustangs, a 1967 coupe and a 1965 coupe. I am considering buying a project car. A 1966 coupe. All the majors parts are present, but it does need alot of work. It has been sitting for about 15 years. The only rust is on the bottom corner on the front of the passenger door. My question is, the owner wants $600 for it, is it worth it? Like I said I have been out of the Mustang market for quite awhile. Thanks for all your help.

I would have to say yes especially if that is the only sign of rust you see... If it is a project car you had planned on doing work to it anyway.

And I think it's safe to say that most medics end up becoming 5150's.

Yes it has a complete 289. It also has a 302 block and heads with it. I guess I'M going to go get it. Wish me luck on my project, it has been awhile.
