NEED HELP WITH '73 RADIATOR HOSE REPLACEMENT!
Ok, so a few days ago my brother was driving home when he accidentally put his 351 cleaveland in "1" instead of "D". When he arrived in the driveway his stang was leaking coolant all over the place. Lifting the hood revealed that the radiator hose was cut all the way through. My theroy on how this happened is that one end of the hose just fell off and from their got cut. My dilemma is that I have no idea on how to fix it. At first I thought that you could just slip on a new hose, but I am not sure where the hose attaches to besides the side of the coolant tank. Also, every replacement part I have found in addition to the repair manuals I have mention a clamp attached to both ends of the hose. I cannot find a clamp anywhere on the remaining half of the hose. In addition to all of this, the pictures for the replacement part all appear to be 3 piece attachment, whereas mine is just one long hose. Can someone please help me, or give me a website with instructions to help me?

its pretty easy... that long hose does have hose clamps. they are those little silver rings on each end, put on and off with a flat headscrewdriver. you probably doing to have to use a razor blade to GENTLY cut the old hose off if its being difficult
