What is the condition of the existing paint and how many repaints does it have on it? If it is the only paint job on the car and you dont have any rust issues or peeling I would hit it 320 and then paint it ( of course removing stone chips and dings). If it needs to be stripped I dont beleive the electric will hold up. You will probably burn the motor up. since you will basically be sanding the car about 3 times.

Guys...
Remember, I chose the Craftsman as an option because it has a warranty. It doesn't amtter if I burn it out, I can replace it at no charge.
But lets say I do go with a non-chemical method. How would I remove the paint from aroundt he doorjams and whatnot? Would I have to go another step and get those areas blasted?

It seems that random Craftsman tools have warranties. If you click on the link and scroll towards the bottom of the item description, it says one year warranty.
