Default Exhaust Tips.... What to do?

I want to run some exhaust tips out the back of my 68 coupe...
I have seen some sweet looking cars on MF here with the "rectangular" tips, I think they are from the 1970 model year Mach 1.
Here are my choices:

1970 Mach 1 Concourse Correct, $129.95
http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....Z5Z5Z50000016e

But the "correct" tips, I think would be the following:
Chrome, $44.95
http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....Z5Z5Z50000016e

Stainless Steel, $84.95
http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....Z5Z5Z50000016e

What do I do??? If I go with one of the dual exhaust tips.... Stainless Steel or Chrome? Opinions? Thanks all!

Atomsk680.. sweet! http://www.shelbyperformanceparts.co...st%20tips.aspx yup yup.. those are a nice find! I've bookmarked them thanks.

Bay.. of the 3 you listed I'd go with the Stainless Steel, $84.95 or the Chrome ones myself.. actually those are the ones I was looking at getting for ours. Do have to admit I like the Shelby tips Atom linked now also.

Those Shelby tips are tight, not gonna lie.
But in reality, I think I am just going for a little different look. I really like those '70 Mach 1 tips.... Even though you would call my car a restomod, it is definitely not radical and I am afraid to go too far overboard. As of now, my car is somewhat understated and I think the chrome tips would be a nice accent. I am just afraid to do something that only *I* would like.
Basically I am pretty sure it is just narrowed down to the 3 options in my original post. If I go with the stainless steel, what is the advantage of that over chrome? Is it a visual thing, a performance thing?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this, fellas. It's just that most of my friends and fam dont really have an opinion on this sort of thing so I like to get feedback from you guys! ...you understand!

I'm a fan of the
"But the "correct" tips, I think would be the following: Chrome, $44.95"
those dual round ones.

+1 to that!
SS stays bright, shiny, doesn't turn color, pit or rust out like Chrome does. As you see you do pay for SS but its worth it in the long run. Short run also as you don't 'need' to polish it as often.

Those look exactly like the '03-'04 Mach 1 tips & like Evil said, SS is the way to go.
