Default Removed My Fender

Im the process of stripping off all the old paint and primering the car to get it ready to go to the body shop for paint but i just removed the fender of my car and wanted to know how can i clean the inside of the fender here im attaching so pictures do i just lay some primer on it do i sand it

You can strip it with chemical and then lightly sand it and primer/paint, or you can really sand the hell out it and primer/paint, or you can clean it with a degreaser and paint it. It depends on what kind of finish you want and how long you want it to last.

You can also take a grinder with a steel brush wheel to it and get all the gunk off of there, use a metal prep, and primer/paint. Just make sure it is clean, no dirt or grease on the metal before you primer. It's not a highly visible area, so don't sweat the details.

i just left mine exactly like yours is and bought some cans of rubberized undercoating. looks nice and gives it a tough texture too. i didnt really clean it much. just pressure washed it mainly and scraped the big gunk off first. the rubberized undercoating will still to anything.

I think it looks great as is. Get some simple green and brush and clean it up really good. It will keep that original look.
