Default Spring break project on my 1970 stang. help

I want to do my complete suspension on my 1970 coupe this spring break. I already ordered 1 inch lowering coil springs and tie rods off of Mustangsunlimited. I also have 4 KYB gas-adjust shocks. The guy before me did a terrible job on everything and i do not trust anything he did. I want to be safe...I still need a lot of stuff. Should i go stock with the leaf springs or lower an inch or what? I am having trouble finding parts and dont know what prices are high or good. Think i could get some help? What else do you recommend me getting so i can do the whole things correctly? I also know i need the lower control arms because they are rusted. I want to order the parts tonight or tomorrow night so i can have them for next week some time when im not in school.
Maybe some links and some lists please? Im still new to this. I will post pics if needed.

I just put on my mid eye 4.5 leaf grab a tracksw/ KYB's a couple of weekends ago.. I love them.. I think it will level your 70 out perfect.. Only problem I have is that the previous owner put some outrageous back spacing on my rear wheels and they stick out, so with it lowered I keep rubbing the tire on mid sized bumps.. I need new rims..

Check your spring plates and U bolts before you order just in case you need to change them out too.. Also, you might as well buy new shackles and front eye bolts too..(they are cheap) I found that the Grab A Track's were thebest priceperformance spring and Mustangs Unlimited will have it to you in about 3 days ($189 plus oversize shipping,, $30 I think).. I ordered mine on A saturday and got them on wednesday.

Oh, and another "while your at it".. Get a monte carlo bar and an export brace to support those shock towers..

Im going with your advice Boogerschnot. This site wouldnt be so good if people didnt give good advice. Im going to order it in just a bit. Also, I now know exactly what the shock towers are... lol... since I knew what the export brace was and you told me what it does.... Guess i will have to check those shock towers as well... I will let you know when i get them and take some pics during and after installation. Im sure I will run into a problem somewhere during that stage and be on here again asking for more help. It wouldnt be fun without trouble right?

it depends on what your control arms are. three bolt or four bolt it could be either. to check, pull the wheel and simply look. if they are original they will be rivited on, if no, they will have nuts and bolts. if they are orginal, simply drill out the rivits and bolt the new ones on (they should come with nuts and bolts)

Good deal, I just got my digital camera working last night, so today or tonight when I get home I will take a couple of pictures of my car with the new rear suspension.. Mine is actually sitting about 1.25-1.5 inches lower than stock because I left a spacer on the rear which lowered it a little more..Good luck! Ask any questions that you need to ..
