Almost ready
I spent the day re-wiring and running hoses. I had the engine compartment jimmy rigged so I could get her home several weeks ago. Today I finally found time to clean up the wiring and hoses. I removed the Alcohol Injection plate from beneath the carb so my air cleaner would fit under the hood. I am going to bolt the plate in the air cleaner so it sprays down into the carb. I know this will work because I did that with my adjustable stage NOS back in the day. I ran the gas and nitrous line in the PCV hose and when it passed up against the firewall that is where it entered the cab. My bottle was under the back seat delete. Nobody knew. I am going with the black braided hose for now. LMK what you think. I still need to run the wires in a loom but at least I have them run where I want them. The first two pics are before and after. I drained the gas from the tank and cut my lines where I needed to. I mounted a filter and made a bracket for the Holley blue pump. It started to snow on me and I hate laying on the wet ground so I called it a day. I will finish mounting the bracket and pump this week.

RE: Almost ready
When I drove it home several weeks ago I thought it ran good. Other than the fouled plugs and a little popping from the carb. I just figured it needed to be dialed in. Do you remember the videos I shot when the engine was on the stand? The firing order was wrong! I didn't realize it until last Thursday. I even shot a video of a few small runs with the firing order off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-4djWCv6Fg
The firing order was the old 289/302. I switched it to the HO order and HOLY $H!T. I put the insurance back on last Friday. I was hoping to take her out this weekend but my road is too icey. I would never get back home if I took her out. I'm hoping the ice softens up and starts melting again this week. All I'm lacking to get her on the road is the fuel pump, which is half done. I still need to run the Alcohol Injection, but that could be done later. Also, I sold my seats and purchased several different one's. I bought the Fiero buckets, which I really like. I also bought a pair of 73 high backs. The bolt pattern is a little different on the 73's. Both need re-upholstering.
I painted my block with bright zinc-it. It is a cold galvanizing paint. It looks aluminum when it's painted with it.
I'm going to take all of you for a ride! When I get her on the road there will be some good videos. Nasty burnouts and passenger seat vids! I can't wait. After last thursday, it is sooooo responsive it's unbelievable. There is not even the slightest hesitation and she revs damn fast. I might even put my CalTracs on because I know what's going to happen

RE: Almost ready
I was able to work on her for a few hours tonight. I mounted the bracket with some clips I got from the electrician at work. I didn't want to use screws on the bracket due to it being right up against the gas tank. These are friction brackets that I mounted my aluminum bracket to. I used a rubber pad to dampen vibration and noise. I heard the Holley blue pumps are notoriously loud and obnoxious. With this rubber pad it hardy makes any noise. I was very surprised. The pump works great. I let her idle for about 30 minutes and made some small adjustments. The rockers sound like they need another once over. Tomorrow I will wire in the electic fan. I was going to temporarily wire it to a switch until I get a thermostat.
