Thanks to all for the feedback...informative and funny!
Now if only I can get my hands on a 1965 Shop Manual...the world would be a better place!!!
Any ideas where I can get one?

eBay, NPD, etc. Most vendors carry reprints and can be ordered easily.

ORIGINAL: honeygoldcoupe

I was born in 1951. I am ancient. You mean they got something better than my stone ax to cut the rust out of a quarter panel these days?
Ready to change wheel now. Club good. Need big club to work on vintage Mustang. Whippersnappers not know about club and axe.

IMHO A putty knife or a butter knife is the best way to get these panels off. As for clips they may or may not rip out of the backing for the panel if they do rip it or they bend beyond repair there are 15 and you can buy a set of them from pretty much any mustang shop. I get mine at dallas mustang for around 5 bucks I get a set of 15.
