i have petronix electic ignition, last summer my car did something simmilar to that (only had spark in 5 cylinders) changed the cap, rotor, plugs wires, and now had spark in 7 of them...wiggled some stuff under the cap..(little black box thing?) and it worked!

somehow i doubt your problem will fix itself though..im glad mine did

I have mine grounded from the block to the subframe. I forgot all about it until I tried to crank if for the first time. It didn't hit a lick. crankcrankcrankcrankcrankcrankcrank...recharge battery, crankcrankcrankcrank...Did I ground the engine? DOH!
