Email him back and ask him (without laughing too hard) what this means.....

From his engine description....

Bored to almost 302
????? the 302 and 289 share the same facory bore of 4". If he's "bored" a 289 "to almost 302", he probably now has a V2 engine.... with one big funny looking misfiring cylinder on each side of the engine.
