for some odd reason holley goes "you need our 670 street avenger" what the hell.. ridiculous so i don't know. i just know the car has more in it but this carb is complete garbage.

i personally have the 670 street avenger on my m-code cleveland and it works extremely well from low end where clevelands notoriously suck to high end with no bog at all. no adjustments wer made other than a double check of the floats and idle circuit. it may be a touch too large for your app. 570 depending on max rpm should work well. if your gonna spin over 6 grand step up. good luck.

Funny, I've always had great results and easy tuning with the 600 cfm vac secondary Holley. Are you dealing with a new one or does it perhaps need to be rebuilt? Have you eliminated the possibility of other issues such as vacuum leaks, timing, spark plugs, coil, etc.? FWIW, I didn't have very good results with a Street Avenger 670 on a 302 that was built a bit hotter than the specs in your first post.
Good luck!

brand spanking new. - no leaks, never had any - timing is dead on, coil is 1 week old as with everything else just about. just sucks having a 2 barrel 4 barrel :|
