Default rear speaker shelf thing rattling

when my bass hits a certain note or whatever, my rear speaker panel thing rattles and i was just wondering if there's a way to fix this easily..
i don't have huge subs or anything, but i do have a better than stock system

if you don't know what panel thing i'm talking about i can get a picture
it's the shelf like thing right under the rear windshield that my speakers are mounted in
i have 2 mounted in there

Thats an easy fix, I had the problem in my car between plastic panels and the metal of the car. Basically just put some padding like maybe some foam or go all out to get the vibration deadening padding that you can get at car audio places and place it between the plastic and the metal. It'll absorb the vibrations and hopefully end that annoying buzzing noise that you get. Let me know if that helps.

Exactly the reason why I sound deadend that portion of my interior. Like Vine said, just place some form of padding between it.

And it's called a "package tray"...

they sell package shelf padding that is cut to the correct size. its like ten bucks, and you can get it with speaker holes or without. that will solve the problem
