Most of the other brands you need a special dual piston gun and yes they all have the dreaded nozzle.

Most body shops rather glue then weld its faster and don't take the prep time as welding. But id never use glue or plastic body filler on a old car i believe in keeping a car what it is.Yes the old ways take more time but they do last longer.

What's a dual piston gun? Are there two tubes? The Maxim is a single tube with a divider. It's hard to take a photo of but you can see the dark and light sides here.

Some body man told me I should glue my cowl back in... I don't know if I would feel nearly as safe doing that(Since the cowl holds the front clip on basically). But it sounds very nice.. buying a new top and bottom cowl piece and just laying it down and glueing it on.

It looks like two small caulk tubes joined together but comes thru a tip simaliar to the one in your pic. Because of this it requires two plungers to operate. This is the gun we use. http://www.levineautoparts.com/miapgun08200.html

Is the cowl structural? The bonders I have seen all say not for structural components.

Jaw66, When you say Do NOT glue the belt line you mean the top edge of the skin where it meets the flanged area correct? From the door opening to the 1/4 panel extensions.
