I have an inherited '65 6 cyl/auto coupe which I like to put rear seat belts into. Any advice on this project would be appreciated. I've bought belts from Andover Supply for a hotrod, I just really need installation advice for the coupe. thanks.

you need strong anchor points to bolt them to. in my '67 they are under the seat. there is a thicker piece of metal that is threaded and mounted to the underside of the car. this is where the main anchor bolt for the seat belt secures to. this should be somewhat easy to do.

There is no magic to this installation, beyond what "Woodvette" has offered.
Have you removed the rear seats yet? Once you do, you'll see what's needed.
The following are pics my rear seating area. Although a cvt, there should be any major differences as far as installing rear seat belts.
