In my case I had to triple the budget. Have a plan and stick to it. It is very easy to add this since I am already doing this. That is when it gets out of control.

my wife called me and told me they dropped off the car this afternoon, here are a few pics of her. i know kinda rough but i got the vision and i see it happening. iam definately looking forward to the build.

WOOF! that is quite the rust bucket, but you seem pretty focused so no worries here Have you thought about maybe shopping around for a fastback with a really bad body and front end except for the parts you would be needing? That how I've heard of most people doing it.

yea she has some rust but its not the worst car i have worked on..lol. as for a hopeless fastback the prices are way too rich for me. iam still on the look out for another 67 coupe for parts but i figure i have a few weeks of my hands full on basic floor pans and cowl patches etc. with gas being sooo $$$ we are staying home and work on the project.

Default update

been a while since i posted but have replaced the floors, main rails, cowl, and guess what ..the whole roof assemble with a 68 fastback roof line. it came together great with minimal problems, it fit together like a model kit.

That looks great. Don't put too much faith in those cinder blocks. They arent really designed to carry weight without being filled with rebar and concrete.
