ANd if you are interested, there are a lot of other affordable performance mustangs out there... Mach 1s, Bosses, GTs, etc.

I would recommend you look for a basic Mustang coupe for your first one. The 65-73 models all have an abundance of basic cars. Up until 1969, they are plentiful and parts are cheap enough to buy. After that, parts become more rare and more expensive. So, I would recommend you look for one from 1965-1968. My 2c
