Default were can i find one

im looking to buy a 67 shelby GT500. A fixer upper. Id like to know about how much one would cost and if anyone knows sumone who is selling.

You and the "jump on the Eleanor craze" Mustang crowd so you are not going to find a Shelby "cheap" in even the most basketcase condition. I guess it would depend upon what you consider cheap. You could easily pay $20K for a rusted out junker missing lots of parts. I would give up the Shelby quest unless you have DEEP pockets and are willing to spend tons of cash fixing one up. Even finding a decent fastback these days is tough. People are paying insane amounts for cars and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. I saw a 66 fastback with lots of rust and it was even a rollover with a crushed roof sell for $6K.

there is no such thing as a cheap 67 shelby gt500. The prices fo one of those,even rusted, is outrageous.

Ha, good luck on that one.. I've been there...... the ones that are left are in really bad shape.... the ones that are in mint cond will run you about 50 to 80 grand, or more (original)... and only 2 to 8% of these cars change hands annually......
