I guess that's what we get for having a local shop do work for the past thirty years . . . I'll see what I can find out. Then again the hole looks really clean, so I am hard pressed to believe it's not original. I'll see if a little more research doesn't turn up what the whole is doing there.

As you guys know, I'm doing this all for the first time, so I really want to be sure I'm getting it right. I put on the seam sealer and let it cure over night, but I am hoping you guys can confirm whether or not I laid it on thick enough. Is there some rule of thumb on this stuff? Thoughts?
