TIG vs Spot Welding and Tunnel Weld for 65 Floor Pans

I guess that's what we get for having a local shop do work for the past thirty years . . . I'll see what I can find out. Then again the hole looks really clean, so I am hard pressed to believe it's not original. I'll see if a little more research doesn't turn up what the whole is doing there.

As you guys know, I'm doing this all for the first time, so I really want to be sure I'm getting it right. I put on the seam sealer and let it cure over night, but I am hoping you guys can confirm whether or not I laid it on thick enough. Is there some rule of thumb on this stuff? Thoughts?
As always, thanks for your help. And if you want to get an idea of the progress or a wider view of the seam sealer job, I've posted photos as http://www.new.facebook.com/album.ph...9fa&id=1213066
Cheers!
