2.3L Turbo swap into 1967 Mustang
#221
I need to post some pictures, and update this a little....
I am working on the sheetmetal in the engine bay...
I am installing a Mustang II crossmember from Speedway Motors. I almost have it all installed. Cutting the factory suspension out took a while, as I have never cut out the shock towers before.... I have been REALLY busy working.
I am replacing the radiator support, so I just cut it out, and it has made it SO MUCH easier to work on the front end. I think I will leave it off until I am done test fitting the engine, and making engine mounts...

Here are a few progress pics as promised...
I haven't taken any pictures this week, but I do have the passenger side boxing plates all welded in...I just need to grind down the welds, maybe throw another bead on here or there..and go to the drivers side...

How is it coming?
Have not seen any more about your project? How is it coming? The GT140T Mustang, as we call it (66 Mustang/SVO 2.3 Turbo car) will be in Februarys issue of Modified Mustangs and Fords Magazine.
