i love those, i dont know if they would fit my wheels tho,..WOW,..sick

ORIGINAL: davesanborn

A stock 195/75/15 tire measures 25.5" in diameter. As these tires were anemically small, most owners jumped to a 205/70/15 with the styled steel wheels to help fill the wheelwells. 205/70/15 measures 26.29"

Your front tires are smaller than a stock Mustang tire.

Rather than have chrome or powder coated lug nuts, have you seen these lugnut covers that TeamIIImakes/sells?

Huh.... I could have sworn they were 195/75/14. Oh well, the point is pretty much the same, you probably should have gone with a 26" tall tire.

I'm not sure if those lug covers will fit your wheels or not.... they look pretty close. Give TeamIII's owner a call (Fred?) and ask him. If they won't work, there's not much too them and you could probably make/have someone make a set to fit your particular wheels.

i guess i was expecting it to sit way lower with the reverse eye leafs, but i guess after 40 year old saggin leafs,..this is actually the height it should be at, hahaha, cause when i got it,..it was tucking all 4 corners about a half inch or more,...
It probably will. When I installed my 4 1/2 leaf reverse eye it sat about the same height as yours. Now it sits about 1 1/2" lower. Seems the springs and suspension parts
do need to loosen up a bit. Now there is about 1/2" between the top pf the tyre and the lip of the fender which is the way I wanted it. I have 620lb/inch front springs
and there is about 1" gap up front. I will drop it so there is a 1/2" like the rear. Will cut the spring.

Note*** Picture and avatar are pre new suspension and wheels.

Those Halibrands are different than the COYS. They do make the rim look cleaner.

well, i guess one thing leads to another,...the ignition switch was not working for some reason in the car, so i decided to replace it, well, i had to take out the cluster, radio, and heater controls so i could get my big ol hands back there and ended up stripping the entire dash apart, replacing all *****, bezels, and switches,...and stripping it down to metal and painted it black,...i have finally got the wet sanding and polishing down,...and i must say it came out way better then i expected,...

dash before, being stripped down,...

going back together, painted, carpets are a mess from all the sanding,..i covered all the seats and carpet, but somehow dust gets everywhere,...and going through all the wiring

all back together, carpets steam cleaned, which actually got alot of the wrinkles out of the new carpet, so it helped alot,...it looks soooo much better,...

and two rear views of the car with new wheels,...

i will begin the long pain staking process of ripping out the transmission once again to try and fix this plug one last time
