Default Progress pics. 68 427 fastback

I haven't posted pics of my progress in some time so I wanted to share a few. I haven't spent as much time on this car lately as I wanted since I've been concentrating on finishing my 68 coupe but I try to get a little done on it every week. Here are a few pics.

When I was first starting on body and paint..

current condition

Holy christ, that is hot. And, while I realize it is a tribute to the original SuperSnake, and not a replica, why did you choose not to use the upper scoops after going through all the work for the lowers?

I used to own an original 67 GT500 and I like the mustang vents better than the shelby fiberglass ones. I didn't want to do a replica of the supersnake, that would involve changing a lot more in the front end and I like the short hood and mustang headlight buckets. I just wanted to do a tribute to it, something kinda similar but with my own touches. I've had this car in my head for many years.
