There's is something about faded original paint that I think looks cool. As a DD, I would leave the original paint and patch what needs it.

If you part out, I would be interested in the wheels if you are anywhere near Virginia or Northern Ohio.

Looks awesome as is.

Waffles,

My car is in storage west ofCleveland where a fair amount of my family lives. I live about 6 hours away in Virginia. (torture). You would flip if you saw the cars my Uncle owns. He is a tinkerer so none of them are streetable really, but they are all original, no rust, need to be restored type cars. He never married so he has about 23 of them. Notice I am being ambiguous for his protection (west of cleveland, etc).

70 fastback manual tranny, 73 convertible Mustang (air, ps, pb), 26 Model T (he is second owner, mint), 31 Model A, 55 Tbird, 59 Tbird, 68 Tempest Convertible (400, 4sp), 89 Police Interceptor SSP Mustang (mint, low miles, FAST car, very rare), 46Jeep, 78 Firebird, 80 Firebird Formula, 64 Falcon, 68 Torino, 71 Torino, 70 Dart Swinger, 67 Cuda and more....

When my car is ready to go, maybe we could meet up at a big swap meet or something. Next summer is the earliest she will be good to go. I am 28, so it would be cool to hang out with someone under 60 who has a classic car.

It is a bit rusty. It came from Florida.

One of the brake lines I need to change is rusted through.

Nothing that can't be fixed though.

I love those Australlian Falcons.

I even like the original XB's and the XB GT's are really nice.

Love that movie.

Hey 73 Sportroof,I have to say I didn't like most of the earlier 70's 71-73 Mustangs but I must of just seen pictures of the base models. Your mustangs look really mean. (in a good way).

Thanks 69FB. I think they look best with a little rake in the back and a 15x8 wheels. They have to have the ram air hoods too.

I would love to have a Mad Max Falcon.
