I'm not sure if that is a shot.....I'll take it as a joke LOL....It was originally New Lime. It's currently sort of a primer black blended with rust and road grime.

I'm considering white with blue stripes over hood and roof, etc. I need to paintshop it to see what that look is like on a '69...could always just do Red with Black accents/stripes.

No shot, I'm guilty of loving chrome engine stuff.

I have to agree with you AV8ForFun. I like chrome on the engine accessories.

I really like the billet grills that Mustang Depot is making as well.

When I get to the point of painting my car I'll decide then if I'm going to stay with the chrome bumpers or paint them.

Personally, I have a while to think about it unless the PCH van pulls up at my house.

It's cool, I really didn't think so. You just don't know around here these days....alot of shot being taken at people....I'm just trying to dodge any of the ricochets. [sm=shootshoot.gif]

True, I'm sure I'll change my mind a 1000 times between now and the paint booth. I have a long way to go and not enough money to get there. I just got up the courage to cut out my first floorpan last weekend...guess what....I decided to do the passenger side first so I wouldn't have to deal with the fuel line yet.......I cut the parking brake cable[sm=badidea.gif]

Hmmm, that gets me thinking. I did my floors a couple a weeks ago, and didn't even pay attention to the lines.....

about the painted bumper. i like the red one, but not the blue. it has to be a complete restomod. not just kind of restomod'ish. it has to be a full blown project.

To answer one of the above questions, my car is currently blue. I was thinking about painting it blue again but a much newer base/clear color.

I'm all for subtle changes, but when I was doing mine we thought of narrowing and painting the bumper's for that sleek look but when we started and put both sets up against the car the chrome bumpers just made the car "pop", I think if you remove the all chrome around the windows and doors then maybe it will work.. Just my opinion.
