ORIGINAL: BA Mustang

So you are only using the E front fascia? It looks good like that
Thanks BA. Yes-I like the E front noses with the longer hood. I am keeping the original side "vents". I did swap the trunklid out for the shelby style, matches a bit better with the front end like it is. Plus I wanted something different. I tried to keep it looking like a 67 but with a few mods but keep the classic look and feel to it. Maybe weird to some but that's just how I am. I think it looks great.

Looks great. I think the black will be outstanding! Can I ask what brand of paint you are going with?

BA- yes exactly except they will wrap the entire car.

honeygold- I think I am going with Sherwin Williams Ford black-I will have to double chaeck with the paint dude. He swears by it and I sawanother fox-body mustang, which he did, that was the same color and it came out great. It is a Ford afterall.

valley-thanks, I hope it comes out sweet. I will update more pics of progress later this week.

Default a little closer but not yet...

Well, I have been out of town for a couple of weeks and I thought, just maybe the stang would be painted by the time I returned. Well, to my surprise, it wasn't! (Not surprised at all) But it has moved a little closer. Dude said it would be this next week, I'm thinking, great! but I don't expect it to be. He said the bottom side of the hood and trunk will be painted first and the jambs, then the car. When it is painted, then I'll believe it is finally painted. Here are some updated pics taken on Tuesday Sept 2, 2008. I'll check on it again early next week. I must say the body/paint guy has done a lot of work and it is turning out great. However, it's been at the shop since May 1st. Patience, I'm not sure if I have any left.
