My mustang nearing paint
#81
I think the guy used a piece of small steel to use as reinforcement to bolt the fiberglass to the lower and upper pieces. He then used duraglass to mold it in, to the fenders, etc., otherwise it would crack. He used misc. bolts and nuts where needed to attach. He has been doing body work most of his life, owns his own shop, and does all the work himself, so I felt like he new what he was doing and it did come out great. Are you looking to do this task yourself?

I wish my car was ready for paint...I.E. I had to money to pay for it now. Zmetalmilitia I have to say it sure is beautiful. Please post pics when you get it reassembled. Got to love a fresh coat of paint no matter the color.

It is going to be a daily driver. I'm planning on a 408w, 5 speed tremec, some sort of kick *** exhaust. It is going to be driven for sure when possible, pending weather. Since I live in CO, the weather can be harsh on vehicles. Everything else, like the interior, is all gathered and awaiting install. I will post more pics as I move along. May as well use this thread since it's nice and long already. I've done all the work on it except sandblasting, body and paint, and the window tint. May not seem like a lot looking at this car now, but if one was to look at the photobucket link, I have done a huge amount of work. At least it feels like I have.
