RE: || Favorite Auto Parts Store ||
I really like the folks at Virginia Classic but have used NDP quite a lot also. If I am in a hurry I use John's Mustangs since they are about 45 minutes away.
For general auto parts I use O'Reilly. They are a bit closer to me but their guys seem to really know parts. I walked in one afternoon with the headlight from the Mustang....one guy started to look it up on the computer and another guy was already putting two new lights on the counter for me saying he knew them well having owned several old cars. Nice to have someone that actually knows cars and isn't just some retail person.

CJ's, price, quality, free shipping on all orders overe $300, and a lot of times on Friday over $50. NPD, Virginia Classic Mustang are great people. I HATE Maryland Mustang!!!! you feel like you are bothering them when you walk into thier store to give them your hard earned money.
I have also been suprised how many parts my local Advance Auto Parts has for my 66.

i do virginia classic, summit, jegs, cj, pep boys, auto zone, advance auto, napa, year one, and any/all places i can go for parts as long as they are what i am looking for (reasonable price, reasonable shipping time, reasonable quality, and reliance of part and store).
i'm not too discriminative cause i search around and compare all parts places for the best deal. i guess i tend to do more local places for the odds and ends and less specific parts.
i go to B&B auto salvage yard a lot for myharder to find parts (not big on fords, but huge for mopars and good for my mopars' needs) i love the place because i know the people and the yard like it is my own backyard. they are good people and let me ineven when iwas around 7 or 8 years old despite the rules. i know them because of the friendship they have with my dad. the main guys that own the place are Al and Mark. i recommend their yard for anyone close enough. if they can't get something they will search for it all over they place. they eventake on jobs/repair work on cars and sell cars too.
