because i was planning on doing the steeroids power r&p but i have a 95 t-5 swap and it wont work

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you saying the current 65 steering box won't allow you to do the t-5 swap? What does the steering box have to do with the tranny? Confused.[]

i cant get the steeroids rack and pinion because of the transmission which was my first plan so now i am looking into the flaming river steering boxes
and the two piece steering box would be alot easier to put in

Don't know if the factory steering box was different on the 65-66 and the 67. Maybe some others can answer that. But, if you have a different steering box that will work for your set-up, then go for it. I'm sorry, but that is just out of my rhealm of experience.

well im not sure if there is a mechanical differance but i know that the 67 and up steering boxes the steering shaft diconnects from the box without taking it apart
and with my headers i will have to pull the whole motor to install a new 65 box
