Classic Mustangs (Tech) Technical discussions about the Mustangs of yester-year.

Crappy, but possibly good news.

I second that. I did 7 months and I look back thinking it was the best 7 months of my 5 years in the Marines. The food is fantastic, and if you're around good friends its generally pretty fun. Not to mention the $$$$. I'm restoring my '68 because of what I made in Iraq two years ago.

agreed. even though i think the 'burger king' we had wasn't real meat... but.. anyway - this is where i got most of my money to get my 67 and fix it up with.. everyone always asks.. 'how'd u get this blah blah' and i say, the army paid for it.

few people even say thanks to me.

My brother was there 4 times. Thank you for serving. Being away from your family for that long is tough, but you can do it.

On the plus side, you will be somewhat used to the desert temps before summer arrives.

Good luck.
