Looks more like a rotisserie, to make fitting and welding so much easier on a major effort. I've seen plans for DIY/homebuilt versions.

no one but me sees my underside...so I don't do anything with it. Looks the same as the day I bought it....except maybe for the surface rust color on the black painted t-boxes I put in.

I made my rotisserie. I looked at one and figured out what I didn't like about it and came up with my own idea. It is extremely solid and I love being able to work on the bottom of the car without being on my back.

I think that I am into it material wise around 175. I plan on restoring more cars when I get done with my mustang so i may keep it but it takes up too much room in a two car garage so i may end up selling it and building another one when the time comes. It only took me a couple days to build.

Nick, that is my kind of build - welded subframe connectors, traction bars, and an x-pipe! It doesn't get much better than that!
