I6 to V8 swap

I6 to V8 swap
i know i know lost of threads on this topics....
but i have one shot at getting things i need from a donor car wit 289.
so i want to make sure i dont miss anything
whats needs to be taken from the donor car?
engine
radiator
coil springs?
motor mounts?
exhaust?
fuel line?
what else??
i already have the diskbrakeswap 5 lug front end.
and i put in a 8" rear end during the remodel.

Won't you need the transmission, bellhousing, and trans mount?
I have heard the trannys betw i6 and v8 are different too.

ohh yeah i forgot that... yeah the transmission will be coming out with the engine.

On a 66 the V8 Idler Arm, Pitman Arm, Center Link, Inner and Outer tie rods are different. I'm not sure about your year. Did you need to change any these when you installed the Disc Brakes?

You might be better off with a new exhaust system and fuel lines rather than one from a donor car.

The throttle linkage is different everything but the engine on your list id buy new no need to do it twice.

I didn't see the year of either the donor car (or yours, for that fact). But if its a 67, you're in an easier position. I'm guessing it isn't a 68 or later since you stated a 289.
