Default 69 fastback quarter panels on convertible / coupe??

I bought a 1969 convertible and was wondering if anyone here ever put 69 quarter panels with side vent on a convertible or coupe? If so, how involved is it and what do I need to worry about. I would also like to have the back end look like the fastback with the raised spoiler look. Let me know if you have pictures. i only found one person who did this online.
Thank
Larry

Yeah overhaulin done it a while back he did have to take part of the sport roof trunk and weld it on the coupe trunk to even it out with the quarters. Its a big job but looks a lot better to me.

It might be easier to just add the Shelby functional brake scoops:http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-19...-350-fa-lr.jpg

It's similar to the Ford scoops except the Shelby is functional. I'd expect they would be much easier to install since you don't need to replace the quarter panel- they're pretty much bolt-on. It's just personal preference I guess, but remember there are no reproduction quarter panels with the scoop built-in. So you'll either have to pull them off a donor car or check a scrap yard if you want the Ford scoops.

Those scoops only fit a sport roof Shelby made different ones for the convertible which does work on a coupe. The quarters are way different the sport roof are wider and round the coupe and convertible ones are flat just like the earlier years.

Yeah, but I've seen these modified to fit a convertible, so they should fit a coupe. The actual convertible ones are HUGE and I wasn't sure if that's the look he's going for.
