Default Installed a couple parts today...

I had to post some pictures of the goodies I installed today. The LED taillights are a huge improvement, and the day/night feature on the mirror is nice to have as well.

I have been very happy with my LED tail lights since I put them on. My old ones were dangerously dim.

I wasn't wild about the sequential turn signal deal at first but it has grown on me and now I sort of like them....the boys sure think they are "cool", LOL!

You'll be really happy that you upgraded to the LED's.

That seems like a simple upgrade, what was the cost? Does it come in a kit? Do you have to go the sequential route?

You can get them without sequential.

I went with Sequential from Virginia Classic Mustang. They are $139.95 right now, part # ER741.

Look around before you buy. The ones I got were very easy to install: replace the flasher under the dash, plug the lights into the existing sockets. I looked at some that required a lot more fabrication to install.

The other thing I like is that mine have 3 rows of about 40 LEDS each. I looked at one kit that only had about 30 LEDS total.

Even my daughter who I don't think even knows what color my car is said how cool they were after following me one day.

Do you have to change the flasher unit if you are not doing sequential?

I got mine off of ebay. They cost me $64 after shipping. They were a direct plug and play application. They plug directly into the light bulb socket. It would have probably only taken me about 20 minutes to install, but I had to fix some "splicing work" the PO did to the taillight wiring. I'm still not sure what you splice into the taillight wiring but oh well.....Mine are not sequential, I was too cheap to pay for that.

I believe you do. Correct me if I'm wrong but there is a voltage difference between the old and LED's, the new unit is to compensate/fix this difference.

LEDs rock. I'm slowly redoing the whole car. Get 'em.
