I hate working on newer cars you always need some special tool and your hand is always too big for the space its gotta go in.None of the car markers have a fwd auto that last more then 100k.Ford and dodge/chrysler/jeep if the ac don't work the evaporator rust out and you gotta pull the whole dash to get to it.That is why i love older cars everything is simple and easy and cheap to fix.

Obviously you have never replaced the heater core in a 1970 Mach 1. If you ever do, make sure you pencil in a couple of days of free time in order to complete the task. BTW, OBD II scanners only work if the car starts. Everything is not harder to fix on new, just more complex. You can change out a fuel pump on a 66 with ease, but thats because its not supplying pressure to racks of injectors. Its all relative.
