Where's my fusebox

RE: Where's my fusebox
Could be the acc fuse for power. May have a fuse for running lights or brake lights. You have a switch on the shifter or transmission linkage that triggers the light's. Check there. Sometimes people install aftermarket shifters and don't go to the trouble of mounting the backup light switch or can't figure out how.

I understand the problem of getting the old elongated fuses. That is why many old mustangers have up graded to the new push in fuse boxes. But., you can still get the old fuses. I get mine at the local parts store. Whenever you find them, buy all that they have, and ask them to order more. They can still do that.

IF you can get in touch with a Napa, or Carquest autoparts store in the USA, they have circuit breakers that pop right in place of the fuses. Would be a big help while you are trying to find out why you've got tin foil on them.
Try a search for AGC15 (that's just one number of a 15 amp glass tube style fuse), or "Buss fuse" (name of a fuse manufacturer). This may lead you to more information and a way to finally find what you want.
If you run into any more walls, PM me, maybe I can help you out from this end.
