Recommend me a welder

I would go with the Millermatic 140 if you want a 110V machine. If you can go 220V go with the Millermatic 212 or 252. Miller has much better customer support than the other brands (Lincoln or Hobart) and is typically less expensive. I have a Millermatic 185 (the predecessor to the 212) and have the spoolmate gun for aluminum and love the machine. It is 10 years old now, and the only thing I have changed is the gun liner and contact tips.
I am in my 19th year of teaching welding and welded for 8 years before that and I think Miller is the best in the business
