Default Global West Adjustable Strut Rods

I ordered a pair of the Global West Adjustable Strut Rods for my '66.

Question. My orginal strut rods had brackets on top for the steering stops. Do I not need those with the Global West products? Or do I transfer those onto the new ones?

Are you going with the whole GW set up or just the adjustable rods? You know you really can't adjust them much on a 65-66, as they will put the stock lower arm in a bind.
