Default Opinions on these wheels.....

My wife has decided she likes these wheels for her 66 coupe. Keep in mind the car is going to be painted a med-dark shade of purple. I think they will look great on the car with some 225-60's mounted up on the rear and 205-60 on the front. I realized the b/s would be right around 4.5 inches and would need some spacers to make them work. Any thoughts, ideas or comments would help.

Not sure. I like the wheels, but I generally don't like high backspacing wheels on classics. Somebody want to photoshop it together?

I actually kinda like those wheels. And I think with a nice deep very rich purple, they might just do the trick. A photochop would be a good place to start though.

Would not be my personal choice. Even on a purple coupe. You could always find some Torq thrusts and paint them purple*S*

Okay, so quick and crappy photochop. Not as rich or metallic as I'd make the purple, and there's a lot of detail, like you know... brakes, lost inside the wheels... but it's an idea. Note: source images are not mine, and are used without permission. Now I'm not sure... but I've certainly seen far more atrocious.

Those wheels just don't compliment the classic look at all. The wheel does look good in its own right, however, they would look better on dodge or something.

I agree...
It's a miss IMO.
And that purple is not doing it for a Stang either.
Too close to the Dodge Plum Crazy...

I can see Mystic though
