Default head turner?

I'm about to purchase a 66 fastback in absolutely wonderful condition and I sort of want to be prepared for what to expect while driving it around. I don't really like a lot of attention but I have a feeling that these cars draw just as must attention as an exotic car. Is that true? Do you guys find your car being oogled over by everyone as you're driving down the street, at gas stations, parking lots, etc? Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the ego boost I'll probably get but I just want to know what to expect. Thanks!

I get complements on my classic truck every time I take it out. I had it out this weekend and had one guy on a motorcycle almost wreck looking back over his shoulder when he passed me.

The mustang will turn more heads not only b/c it is a classic but also b/c of the nice body lines of these cars.

They are probably the most recognizable classic on the road.

I get ladies talking to me at stoplights, gas stations, etc. & I KNOW it's not for my looks. So yes, the car does attract attention, in a good way.
I did have one young lady at Taco Bell that I thought was going to climb through the drive thru window into my car. Needless to say I do drive the Mustang every time I go to Taco Bell now, just in case.

Anywhere you stop, some people have yelled out of the window to say nice car. I think the best though is every morning I drive by a school bus stop for the local elementary scool, and the kids just love it.

get used to the "how much is it to fill her question". i don't get why people ask this but my response is firm. "probably the same as yours ..."
