Good work getting a donor car, should come in quite handy. The 351 will be a nice powerplant for the 68, my 302 gets the job done, but I do want more power.

(Tried to post pictures last night, but photobucket was doing site maintenance, I'll get 'em up here in a few.)

Sorry about the delay, I was in my digital photography class and we were doing critiques so the instructor locked all the computers.

As the car sits today. (5 lugs/ 17" wheels)

Old wheel/tire combination. (4 lugs/ 14" wheels)

Original I6 200 (Rebuilt)

First 302 (Out of a donor car)

Current 302 (I'll explain why the new motor, if you want)

Current wheel/tire combination, also front disc brake conversion.

I can't remember the exact name of the kit, it's written down somewhere, when I find it I'll be sure to let you know.

Took a lot of digging through my old posts, got it from a post I made back in September of '07, this is exactly what I'm using, they've since added the '05-'09 disc kits as well.

how do you like the kit? is the quality good? is there any mods you had to do or was the kit bolt on ready?

I'm also running a booster so that helps too, but yea I love the kit, not only does it look good, but it is an enormous improvement over the original drum brakes. Stopping used to be a concern at every light, now it's just something I don't have to worry about at all.

As for modifications, I know we did the conversion from 4 lug to 5 lug and the brake kit at the same time. Other than that, I can't really remember details of any modifications we needed to do.

cool cause im really thinking about using that kit for my disc swap when it comes time to do it, i will be doing the 5 lug swap soon and probably just running the drums just to get it driving then ill do this disc kit, i was skeptical on running 17s though like the kit requires but after seeing them on your car i think they look amazing, i want to run the torque thrusts 2 in black with the chrome lip and probably paint the car highland green...
