Default What should I expect to pay?

Im looking to have my rear valence repainted. What should I expect to pay?

There is some dust particles under the clear and some scratches. The piece needs to be sanded primed and repainted and cleared IMO

Am I better off getting a new rear vallence for $40 bucks to save on labor or does it not matter.

I know how the economy is right now so I would think people are hungry for work. I was thinking between $100 - $200 at the most.

Is the current valence the original? If so I could not replace it to save a few bucks.

If they just do the valence chances are that it will not match the rest of the car. They would need to blend it out some to match well. I would expect to see $300-400 from a good shop.

the color differance will be minimal with the valance since it meets the 1/4 at an angle

id figure 100-200$ to get it painted esp if your providing the base coat that was left over.

as for replacing i assume you mean sanding scratches that you see in the metallic?

if so when the panel is sanded down it will be flattened out if they need to prime it should be much more

Well I sucked it up and went to get a quote from the custom rod shop next to my work to have the job does right. I was expecting the highest quote from guy and sure enough he immediately looked at the panel and quoted $100. SOLD

The piece should be done in a week. Im excited to see the results. I will post some pics when complete.
