Well, the parts are in. I recieved my new gas tank kit. I'll be removing the old one tomorrow. Any tips? I was thinking about doing a little buffing, priming and painting around were the new gas tank will go. any suggestions on painting the gas tank? primer type, paint type? I have a carpet kit for the trunk.

I also recieved my new ring and pinion gears and bearing kit. Would it be any easier doing the rear end work before installing the new gas tank? I'm gonna try and post some before and after pics. Also any suggestions on paint type for the rear end housing. I wanna buff it down, prime and paint it also.
