Exclamation I might get this 1967 Mustang want do you guys think for 700 obo need top replaced

Here is the email:

The car is complete but has rust issues. It is a great parts car. The doors close great and all windows are in tact. The dash is bad but all instruments are there. No AC.

The hubcaps are in the box.

The car has two 289 motors that are pulled out to repair/rebuild. You can make one good one out of the two. One manual 4 spd trans and one automatic trans.

The floor pan has no rust and appears to be in good shape. The hub caps are in the back.

The car has been sitting for 20 years and is not in the Cal DMV system any longer. No paperwork.

Make me an offer. I am located in Chino Hills (71/60 fwy)

Also how can I replace the top with a hardtop I probably can get a welder, do I just a hardtop top and weld it? your help would be great!

Well it has the original clock so your up $150 right there.

Also the original Radio $100 and glass $500 and deluxe hood $350. I would offer him $500 and use the parts if you can. It is worth no more then a parts vehicle in my minds eyes.

P.S.

I guarantee the floor pan has rust

I would buy it in a heart beat for 600-700. There are thousands in parts there. You can e-bay what you don't want to finance what you do want.

Really? also can I fix the car or is it only good for parts? because most likely I can get a free welder but where can I get a hardtop rooftop?

There was a guy on here doing a 66 coupe, I belive who ended up removing the roof. It can be done. Maybe someone can help with a link to that thread.

Again anything is possible. Its a good deal period. Just remember rust is cancer and very hard to get rid of. If you looking for a good project and not a dailey driver, I think you found your next car

Good luck, let us know what you plan on doing becuase if you dont buy it I would like the guys info to part the car out. Im in So. California as well.

Sad to say I would only use it as a parts car too. That coupe is dead. Sorry.

Look at the rust stains on the side of the car. ouch.
