Vacuum connections 1966
I think my vaccuum lines are connected wrong, i did a search but couldn't find any pics or diagrams that could help me out. It's a 1966 coupe with stoch engine and C4 tranny. Just take a look at the pic:
My main concern is that the line towards the booster is split towards the C4. So if anyone could help me out, it would be great.

welcome to the forums. another european :-) great !
i've never seen the setup like you have it, but it should work.
you have one lijne from the pcv in rocker cover to the carb spacer (which is manifold vacuum). And then you have manifold vacuum (from the manifold itself) to the brake booster and to the C4.
That's what it should be. do you have any problems or why are you asking ?

That T piece is bothering me, it doesn't look original to me. But i could be wrong. I just want to know if anyone else has the same routing. I have 1 opening that been plugged at the otherside of the carb. It's located on the right side just behind/above the choke.
I'm affraid that the booster isn't going to get enough vacuum with this setup.
I do have a small problem with the brakes though, originally the car had front drum brakes. But it was converted with PB and disc brakes. Now when i brake hard and fast the rear locks up. I already found the problem, there is no proportioning valve mounted. I just ordered (today) an black annodized distributor block with build in proportioning valve from stainless steel brakes.

These are various types of Vacuum tress.
The large Male threaded part goes into the manifold
The large female Thread area is for the brake booster tube
The small ports are for the Transmission modulator, and other minimal vacuum things like Speed Control, etc

Check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sticky at the top of this forum and look for electrical diagrams. One of those links also has vacuum diagrams also. I think this is it.

It may not be for a 66, but a 67 or 68 should be the same setup as far as vacuum under the hood goes.
