Default Carpet questions

Whats better for durability? Raylon weave or Nylon weave?
Does the carpet get screwed down? NPD has a "Carpet Mounting Kit" 013000-1K consisting of 10 screws. I was going to lay it out in the sun first then install it with some spray adhesive in a few areas to help hold it down. Our car had some trash carpet cut and tossed in when we bought it.

I know when I took mine out (actually just pulled it back) I removed screws which appeared to be factory installed. I know there were some in front of the front seat risers.
You may regret gluing down the carpet if it gets wet for any reason, or puked on, or whatever.

Yeah mine pulled right out. And the new carpet I put in this weekend sits perfectly.

Glad to hear it fits perfectly. Mind if I ask where you ordered it from and did you get the Raylon or Nylon weave?

I picked it up from my local stang shop. I am not sure of the weave. It is from AAC I believe.

Their prices are much cheaper else where. I picked mine up for I believe ~120-30

I prefer the Nylon weave because the threads look tighter and makes the color of the carpet darker. No need for screws or spray adhesive its just a waist of money. Make sure you wait for a warm day for your install.

Make sure to take some extra time and lay down some sound deadener with the carpet out.

I ordered mine from NPD.

I know its black, but this is a picture right after the carpet install

I know this is a bit off topic, but I was very happy with NPD's Trunk carpet as well. Its was worth the extra money!

Trunk carpeting? Interesting. Is there any insulation?
