Default Brake lights?

Any one know why my running lights work, but my brake lights and blinkers do not? I'm not too up on any electrical stuff. Any tips or advice is appreciated. My '67 coupe now drives like a dream. I just wanna drive it with brake lights too.

if I remember correctly, I believe that the 12v source for both the brake lights and turn signals comes from the steering column (turn signal switch?). I need a wiring diagram to be sure.

I would start from the brake switch to verify that there's power there, and work my way towards the lights.

The signals and brake lights come together in the turn signal switch for distribution to the lights. Before you try anything else, replace the rear bulbs since it's the most likely reason. From there it's most like a bad turn signal switch since neither of these circuits are fused.

Thanks. I'll go get some new bulbs and turn signal switch and go from there.

Also check to make sure the grounding wires are hooked to each tail light box and to the chassy
