Well I was looking at summit for some headers. I found Hedman shorties that I liked. They had two of the one I wanted. Painted for $153.95, and Ceramic for $436.95. SAME EXACT HEADER, just a different coating. That's $282 for a coating. **** that...

I called Jet-Hot Coatings, they have the $153.95 pair for ~$350 SHIPPED AND COATED. Dang... I will be buying from them. I would check them out on your next header purchase you might be able to find a sweet deal. It is about $195 or so for the coating and whatnot.


So anyone have any experience with them?

I have BBK's on my 84 with the ceramic coating. They look pretty much the same as the day I put them on... 8 years ago. Daily driver too.

Ceramic coating is definitely a good thing. I have ceramic coated hookers that I love. They are also definitely more expensive. I thought about having my whole exhaust coated...pretty pricing though.
