Default window trouble

Can anyone tell me what goes where the window regulator arm connects to the scissors? Mine keeps popping out and im wondering if it's one of those C-clips. It's a 66 mustang

The rollers wear out and it pops out of window track. Have you removed door panel and looked at them ?

Yes, i've taken the door panel off. It's not the rollers, it's where the arm from the crank connects to the scissors, The arm keeps popping out. Is something supposed to be holding it on?

there are only a few parts to make the window go up and down. One part is the door window regulator with arm $29.95. The second main part is the window regulator scissor assembly $32.95. If you look up National parts Depot or Paddock ,or any vendor of your choice you will see the parts I described. Do a search on the internet for these for mustang parts places. You will see pics of what you may need.

I am having trouble with the rear side window on my 66. It seems to "fall off the track" sometimes. How do you access the window mechanism? Its not as obvious as with the front window where you can just remove the door panel.
Thanks

I know the parts. I have them, what connects the REGULATOR ARM TO THE SCISSORS?

It's a smooth bolt with a flared end. Obviously the flared end had worn out, and the smooth bolt fell out. Just get all new parts and you will live happily ever in never never land. If you don't have that smooth bolt with the flared end, then get your ingenious mind in gear and figure out a replacement that will work. Jeez, buy you books, send you to school and you still can't think on your own?
