Default 67 vert

Possibility I may be buying a 67 vert soon. Fond people interested in my 67 and I found me a 67 vert for sale cheap. They want 4900 for a red 67 vert with a 6cyl with a 3 speed manual. I think I may buy it if the coupe will sell. Says it needs work, but if I sell the coupe for what I want and buy the vert I would have 1.1K to spend on parts. What do you guys think?

Verts look great but they don't do it for me. I'd prefer a coupe or fastback myself.

unless its a Shelby A/C Cobra that is.. drool............

I like my coupe, but it is 1 of 325,000 while this vert is 1 of less than 40,000 for 1967.

Well BA living in the South I'd have to say "IF" you can sell your coupe for what you want, then by the vert. Have you seen it? What kind of work does it need? Of course now that you have a DD whatever you do can be done in stages and at a pace you can afford.

I have not seen it. I emailed them asking what work it needed and waiting a response. It is up past Nashville. I am going to work on the coupe tomorrow to get it ready for the people to come by and look at it. Then hopefully next weekend go up and look at the vert IF the coupe sells this week.

I would rather a vert than a coupe. Since mine was a gift I can't complain and its previous three owners were my Dad and friends of his. So even if I found a great deal I won't part with mine.

I would rather have a vert over a coupe.

That's a great price. I paid $9,000 for mine and it needs some patch panels and a little work here and there. For $4900, I would be worried about rust. Make sure you check it out thoroughly.

Go for it. Keep another 67 vert alive. But I'm biased.

Mom is saying no now... So I threw another idea at her and she hasn't said no to it yet.

If the guy will ever email me back the vert might still be considered.
