Pic request - Stereo with hacked dash!
Ok, not too popular I know, but would love to see pics of your receiver in your dash and how you compensated for the newer receiver size (single DIN) in your large stock opening and with the stock contour of the dash.
Installing a newer single DIN is not complicated, however the contour of the dash would leave the side of the receiver not 'flush'. Looking to see what some folks did out there!

I wish I could find the page. I saw once where a guy took a black frame and 'potted' it in with a black epoxy. He'd taped off the dash and the frame and smoothed in the epoxy. When it cured it looked smooth and slick.

Thanks for the pics Tim. That's the look I want. Do you have a gap on the sides? Wasn't the stop AM cutout height larger than your new one?
James - exactly what I was figuring we'd have to do to feather in the sides. Not sure if there's anyway around it!
